Kelley Chisholm

Business Station

Kelley is a speaker, author, overseas aid worker and perpetual student. She is passionate about women and gender issues, both in the local and international context, which underpins her enthusiasm for co-founding kinwomen, an online women’s network, to encourage women to ‘live their finest life’.

Kelley has a diverse work background across secondary teaching, community services, elite sport, small business, marketing and promotion, international development, and corporate leadership and management.

In 2012, Kelley established The Floxglove Project, a registered charity focused on supporting international development projects that are sustainable and driven by indigenous leadership. The flagship program, Grassroots Rwanda, has supported more than 20,000 women into self-help groups and small businesses.

Currently, she is working with Business Station, as the Business Improvement Leader and spearheading the ‘Women in Small Business‘ initiative. It has an uncanny resonance with her work in the overseas context as it aims at supporting and encouraging small and micro business owners in the Australian context.

Kelley combines these passions with a love of family. Across more than 30 years, she has worked through many of life’s expected and unexpected challenges while raising three sons. Now those boys are young men, changing the dynamics of family life and relationships. One of those changes is the arrival of grandchildren, Oscar and Daisy.
