Sparkling, Rosé and Emerging Wines

September 27, 2016

We are blessed with diverse terroir and fantastic winemakers in Western Australia and as each year passes, our vines are maturing and so are the tastes of consumers! Year by year the growth in local wine choices makes it even more exciting and another reason why attending wine events is an important part of being educated about and buying new wines.

At UnWined Subiaco we will be presenting three wine tasting sessions in the Wine Theatre each day looking at some of the new wines on the market, their strengths and understanding why we are expanding our tastes.

Session one will look at Rosé, great drinking for WA’s summer climate! Rosé can be made with a variety of red grapes and the session will explore some using Cabernet, Tempranillo and blends. Session two will explore the range of sparkling wines available, again not just looking at white varietals but the list will include a Moscato and Shiraz. Finally, be prepared to enjoy some unique flavours in session three as we put the spotlight on some interesting wines including Malbec, Tempranillo, La Bratta Bianco and an aged Verdhello.

UnWined Subiaco is the perfect way to explore new and emerging wines in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
