City Wine
Thank you for your support in our efforts to continue City Wine for 2022.
The decision to go ahead was based on the public announcement and information available at the time.
Following the formal advice yesterday from the Department of Health, we now have been advised that while events have a 500 capacity limit, if liquor is involved we are then classified as a hospitality venue which requires all service to be seated. Despite our research, the initial announcement did not advise this clause for events and the regulations are quite confusing.
While it is frustrating, it is now impossible to stage City Wine in it regular format and we advise that we now have been forced to cancel the event for 2022.
The events industry and its chain of suppliers and supporters have done it hard for the past 2 years, and we look forward to your future support and patronage.
Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to bringing you UnWined Subiaco in October!
